SIGNIFICANCE OF 'EASTER'

Jai  Shri Mataji !!!

I read in today's news paper that P Sivakami, President of 'Samuga Samatva Padai' demanded that a Christian be chosen for the top Constitutional post of India, namely The President.of India.

The literal meaning of this Tamil organization is something like  'Fighters of equality in the society' .  After coming into Sahaja Yoga, I learn a lot about Jesus Christ and His noble qualities.  Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi clarified that He never proclaimed himself as 'God' .  He only told that I am the Son of God and the gateway to His Kingdom. I have also noted Shri Mataji's cautions about 'high-handedness of some Christian missionaries'.

However, in general followers of the holy Jesus Christ , specially in India , are to be lauded for their some noble qualities.  They love humanity, as preached by Jesus and they give education and health care to the needy.  Though it is not possible to do so to a mass community they are trying their bit to do something.  They live some disciplined way of life comparing to ordinary Hindu followers who blindly follow some faith and lack  caring  for humanity.

Interestingly  name of the above said President Ms.Sivakami  denotes that  she was a chaste Hindu.  May be she got converted into Christanity for some reason .  I personally  do not object a Christian becoming the President of India, when a Muslim/ Sikh could become the President/Prime Minister of India.  Earlier our Defence Minister was a Christian (George Fernandes).

As regards the subject point of 'Easter' it is to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ after few days of His cruciffication .   Normally in Hindu sastras the Brahmana (i.e., the one who realizes the God), tooth and birds are called 'dwij' .  This means they all have birth twice.  Though by birth a person may be Brahmin.  But after he gets the self-realization, he gets the real birth , that is he is again born.  Similarly, the tooth of every person grows , falls and again grow.  Hence it is also having two birth.  Likewise, the egg is born from the bird, which is motionless.  After the prescribed period it is hatched and the beautiful chic comes out.  Earlier we were also like a motionless egg without know the path of truth. Out of compassion, Shri Mataji nourished our inner being , awakened our Kundali and gave us rebirth and also  the 'Brahma-gyan' that is 'Self realization' (Atma sakshatkar).  So brothers and sisters  !  Easter is the symbolism of even our rebirth.  Let us thank our Supreme Mother for taking pain to give us the Supreme knowledge in spite of our all draw back.

With love.
